Events

CSGS hosts guest lectures, conferences, workshops, seminars, art exhibits, film screenings and social events throughout the year. Our annual lectures feature distinguished faculty and alumnae/i from the University of Chicago discussing their current work. The Center runs a number of projects and series that create an ongoing conversation about crucial topics and critical areas of study in gender and sexuality. We partner with faculty and students as well as other campus centers, departments, student groups, community organizations and Chicago cultural institutions to provide even more opportunities to discuss gender and sexuality in various contexts.

You are invited to attend any of our events that spark an interest. All of our events are held on site at 5733 South University, free, and open to the public unless noted otherwise in the calendar listing.

See the CSGS Events Calendar for upcoming events and join our listhost for announcements on CSGS events, fellowships and other opportunities. We hope to see you soon!
