Kris Rosentel
Kris Rosentel, Gender & Sexuality Studies BA'16, Social Work Administration MA'17, is currently a researcher at the University of Chicago's Center for Interdisciplinary Inquiry & Inquiry in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Ci3). Kris works on research projects related to LGBTQ health and social welfare. These include studies exploring the role of formal/informal economies, criminalization, and resource access in shaping the lives and wellbeing of LGBTQ people. In pursuing these projects, Kris frequently has the opportunity to apply their education in gender and sexuality studies and social work. Since graduating from the major, Kris has also revised their undergraduate thesis for publication in Sexuality Research and Social Policy.
